PRESIDENT DR. ANIRUDH GUPTA ALONG WITH TEAM MAYANK FOUNDATION RELEASED THE POSTER

Fulfilling the commitment towards sports, Mayank Foundation, the leading NGO of Ferozepur, is organizing its fifth season of badminton tournament on 24th December 2022 like every year. The tournament is being organized in collaboration with Punjab and District Badminton Association at Rai Bahadur Vishnu Bhagwan Memorial Auditorium, Dass & Brown World School , Ferozpur

Project incharge Ashwani Sharma and Aksh Kumar told that the poster of the tournament was released by Team Mayank Foundation under the Presidentship of Dr. Anirudh Gupta. Apart from Punjab, around 400 players from Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu, Chandigarh will participate in the tournament.

This tournament is organized every year by the Foundation in the memory of Mayank Sharma who himself was an outstanding player and rising star of badminton. His love for the game of badminton was so deep that it is difficult to describe it in words.

(SUBHEAD)Ironically, even in his last moments, he was on his way to the stadium to play badminton when he met with fatal road accident . To fulfill Mayank's unfulfilled dreams, the organization organizes badminton competition so that players can take part in it and give flight to their dreams.

Ashwani Sharma told that this championship is being conducted under four categories of boys and girls under 11,13,15 and 17. All the players participating in the championship will be given appreciation letters, prizes, T-shirts and free food by the foundation. . The winners will be given cash amount of Rs 11000 and 7100 as prize money respectively.

On the occasion of poster release, Joint Director of Punjab State Science Council, Dr. K.S. Bath, Secretary Red Cross Ashok Behl, Subodh Kakar, V.P. Manish Banga, Principal Sanjeev Tandon, Rakesh Kumar, Vipul Narang, Arnish Monga, Manoj Gupta, Harinder Bhullar, Kapil Sanan, Sandeep Sehgal, Dr. Kulwinder Nanda, Charanjit Singh, Navinder Kumar, Gaurav Bhalla, Deepak Airey, Aseem Agarwal, Guru Sahib, Manish Mital, Kamal Sharma and Deepak Sharma were present.
