Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains thanked all the sportspersons, officers, teachers and employees who made their best contribution in the success of the state level primary school games organized from December 6 to 8 at Sri Anandpur Sahib.

He announced holiday on December 9 for all the student participants, and teachers, administrative staff and officials on duty in organizing the games. Apart from this, the students and teachers of government primary schools (pre-primary inclusive from first to fifth) of district Rupnagar will also have a holiday on December 9 for successfully organizing these games.

Mr. Bains said that 5143 sportspersons and 800 teachers participated from all 23 districts of Punjab in these games. He said that budding sportspersons have shown great enthusiasm in these state-level games which held after a gap of two years due to the Corona crisis.
