TWO DAYS 10TH NATIONAL GATKA CHAMPIONSHIP FROM 24TH DECEMBER AT PU

National Gatka Association of India (NGAI) in collaboration with Chandigarh Gatka Association (CGA) is organizing the 10th National Gatka (Boys) Championship on 24th and 25th December, 2022 at Panjab University Chandigarh in which Gatka teams from 16 states of the country will participate.

Disclosing this, Chandigarh Gatka Association General Secretary Rajdeep Singh Bali and Finance Secretary Simranjit Singh said during this two-day Gatka competition being organized in collaboration with Panjab University, Chandigarh, Gatka teams in individual and team events would compete in 'Farrie-Stick' and 'Gatka Stick' categories in under-14, U-18, U-22 and U-25 age groups. They informed that the winning teams and participating players would be given certificates by the NGAI.

hey further informed that Joint Director Sports Sunil Rayat, Deputy Director Sports Rakesh Malik, NGAI President Harjeet Singh Grewal, CGA President Hardeep Singh Butrela MC and Gurjot Singh Sahni, President of Gurdwara Asthapan Committee, Sector 22 would jointly inaugurate this tournament.
