WRITES LETTERS TO 350 OFFICERS OF PUNJAB AND CHANDIGARH

Exhorting to resolve on the New Year to give a clean, transparent and corruption free Administration to the people, the Punjab Governor and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Shri Banwarilal Purohit has written a letter to all the IAS and IPS officers of Punjab and Chandigarh.

In the letters to nearly 350 officers under his own signature, the Governor reiterated Hon’ble Prime Minister of India’s message that ‘ensuring complete transparency in Administration is the responsibility of each and every officer serving in the Government’.(SUBHEAD)

“I desire that these directions be followed in letter and spirit to ensure corruption free society which is the need of the hour. It is expected that each of you will also convey this message to the officers working in close contact with you”, wrote the Governor.

The copy of Prime Minister’s address on the Vigilance Awareness Week was tagged alongwith the Governor’s letter to the officers.
