CHANDIGARH POLICE NABBED TWO ROBBERS AMONG ZIRAKPUR RESIDENT

Chandigarh Police has achieved a great success in solving a sensational crime by arresting the accused persons i.e Amit Gupta S/O Sushil Kumar R/O Flat NO 9 Angel Apartments Zirakpur, PB age 38 years and Satwinder Singh S/O Kashmira Singh R/O Jarkhelana Kheri, Distt Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab along with robbed vehicle.  

As per the version of complainant Mr.Sammi Kumar Shrivastav S/o Sh.RavinderLal, R/o H.No. C-604, Sushma Enclave, Dhakoli, SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab that on 31.12.2022 he hadgone to NAC Manimajra, Chandigarh in his car No. KA03-NA-6936(Red Color Brezza) alongwith his wife for shopping.

After shopping from TanishqJewelers, they came back to the car, an unknown person suddenly opened the back door of his car and sat inside. The said person threatened them with an alleged gun in his hand and pushed them out from the car & after that he sped away with the car. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 141 dated 31.12.2022 U/S 392,397 IPC and 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at Police Station-Manimajra, Chandigarh on 31.12.2022.

After going through all the contents of the complaint and keeping in view the sensitivity & gravity of the matter, the Teams were immediately constituted under the close supervision of S.P.S Sondhi, D.S.P. North East Division& under the leadership of Insp. Jaspal Singh, SHO, PS-Manimajra. During further investigation the police officials nabbed two accused along with robbed car and toy pistol used in crime from their possession. Further investigation in the present case is going on.
