INITIATIVE OF IT COMPANIES: “WINTER GRATITUDE DRIVE” AIMING TO HELP STAFF WORKFORCE

With the feeling of gratitude, various Startup IT companies/Young entrepreneurs based out at the Entrepreneur Development Centre (EDC) managed by Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh under the aegis of the Department of IT, Chandigarh Administration came together for an initiative called “Winter gratitude Drive” aiming to help all the supporting staff workforce in the building like ; housekeeping workers , Electricians, helpers, Fire Safety workers, Gatekeepers, etc.

(MOREPIC1) This great initiative was led by CEOs of Volumetree – Shubham Kumar and Shivam Gupta, with the support of their team, other startups like M/s Intellewings, and other key members from the EDC Startup community. The team managed to collect donations over the past 1-2 weeks from various members in the building and used the contributed amount to buy quilts for the workforce.(SUBHEAD)  

Mr. Rupesh Kumar, IAS, Director Information Technology, Chandigarh Administration applauded the efforts of the organizing team and said that this event was organized with the vision to give back to the silent workers who make our lives easier.

The quilts were handed over yesterday  to the staff in the presence of Mr. Rupesh Kumar, IAS, Director Information Technology, Chandigarh Administration, entire staff of Volumetree and Intellewings, and the directors of all the other companies in the EDC building the directors of all the other companies in the EDC building.
