The 74th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great fanfare in the premises of BBMB Board Secretariat, Chandigarh on Thursday.
The flag hoisting ceremony was performed by the Chief Guest, Sh. Sanjay Srivastava, Chairman, BBMB. On this auspicious occasion, patriotic songs were sung and cultural programs were performed by the employees of BBMB.
Sh. Sanjay Srivastava, Chairman, BBMB congratulated the dignitaries present and the officers/employees of various project stations associated through the virtual medium and said in his address that patriotism does not only mean protecting the borders, but every person is a patriot who works for his country and discharges tasks and duties with full devotion.
I take pride in the fact that all the officers and employees of BBMB family are giving their full cooperation in the progress of the nation by discharging their duties with full devotion and dedication. The important goals achieved in the last year as well as the important tasks that are being executed and planned to be accomplished in the near future were apprised. He appreciated the efforts of the officers/employees for public welfare works being done by BBMB.
Er. Arpita Thakur, Director/HRD while addressing the 'Vote of Thanks' thanked all the present dignitaries and expressed gratitude to all those who contributed directly and indirectly to make this program a success.
Smt. Dipti Srivastava, wife of Sh. Sanjay Srivastava, Chairman was especially present on this occasion. On this occasion, Er. Vipin Gupta/Chief Engineer, Er. Amarjit Juneja/Chief Engineer, Er. Satish Singla/Secretary, Er. Ajay Kumar Sharma/Special Secretary, Er. Saurabh/Dy. Chief Vigilance Officer, Er. Naveen Gupta/Superintending Engineer and other officers were also present.
