How can the quality of education be improved and how to make it more effective at national level? A discussion on the national education policy will be organised under the 'Manthan' programme of National Independent School Alliance (NISA) on February 19. Mr Kulbhushan Sharma, President of NISA, gave this information at a press conference.

He said that the discussion will be held at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector 5, Panchkula. Haryana School Education Minister Kunwar Pal Gujjar will be the chief guest of the education policy review programme. Haryana Government’s Additional Chief Secretary Education Mahavir Singh and Director Secondary Dr Anshaj Singh will also grace the programme as special guests.(SUBHEAD)

NISA President further said that educationists from all over the country and abroad will participate in the brainstorming programme. A few of the experts will include Prof. Dinesh Saklani (Director, NCRT), Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kigdon (University of London), Partha Shah (Founder President of Center for Civil Society), Sunita Gandhi (Founder, Devi Sanstha), Prof. Ajay Kumar Singh (IGNOU ), Padmashree Bharat Bhushan Tyagi, Geet Sethi (Arjuna Awardee and Billiard champion), and Manit Jain (Member, FICCI) among many others.

The winners of NISA NET Olympiad National will also be felicitated during the programme. The educationists will present their ideas after brainstorming to further improve the education system. NISA aims to improve the education system of the state and the country and to uplift the national education to a higher level.
