THE PRE QUARTER MATCHES OF GULLY CRICKET TOURNAMENT CONTINUES AS UTCA PRESIDENT CHEER PLAYERS IN THE MIDDLE

On the 13th day of Gully Cricket tournament being organized by UT Cricket Association (UTCA) and Chandigarh Police, pre quarter final matches continue with matches being held at Police Line Ground, Sector 26 and DAV School, Sector 8 on Tuesday.

Team No. 202 batting first scored 129/2, in reply Team No. 197 could only manage 99/7 and lost by 30 runs.

In another match, Team No. 143 scored 143/3. The opposition team no 148, was bundled out for 41 runs and lost by a huge score of 102.

In the third match of the day, 54/8 of team No. 131 was surpassed by Team No. 125 by scoring 55/2 resulting in an eight wicket win for lateral one.

In another thrilling encounter, Team No. 190 scored 97/7 wherein Team no 192 was bundled out for 190.(SUBHEAD)

In other matches of the day, Team No. 114 (29 all out) beat Team No. 112 (31/3) by seven wickets, Team No. 169A (133/7) beat Team No. 178 (51 all out) by 82 runs . Team No. 161 (114/5) beat Team No. 160 (31 all out) by 83 runs.

One match of participating girls in the tournament was held at GHS School, Sector 19 in which team no 106 (55/4 defeated team no 71 (56/1) by nine wickets. On this occasion, UTCA President Sanjay Tandon encouraged the enthusiasm of both the teams and also honored the outstanding players.
