Inter NCC Group Sports Shooting Championship was organised by the NCC Directorate, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & Chandigarh from 17 to 24 April, 2023 at Chandigarh Police Shooting Range, Sector 25, Chandigarh.
Eight teams comprising of 64 NCC Cadets from the States of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh & UT Chandigarh participated in the championship.
Raw shooting talent of the cadets was identified and they were further trained to achieve excellence in various events of shooting position .(MOREPIC2)(SUBHEAD)
NCC Group UT Chandigarh emerged as Champions in this arduous competition. Many of the medals were won by the Chandigarh cadets, who excelled in all formats of the Competition.
Brigadier Parvinder Singh, Group Commander, NCC Group HQ Chandigarh awarded the Medals and Certificates to the winners of individual shooting events. During the address to the winners, Brigadier Parvinder Singh, motivated them to outdo in the Inter Directorate at National Level NCC shooting competition and to secure their places in National Shooting Squad of India.
