AIR COMMODORE HARPAL SINGH TAKES OVER COMMAND OF CSDO OF INDIAN AIR FORCE

Air Commodore Harpal Singh has taken over the command of Central Servicing Development Organisation (CSDO), a premier institution of Indian Air Force.

Air Commodore Harpal Singh, who originally belongs to Jalandhar (Punjab), was commissioned in the AE branch of IAF on 30 Sep 91. He has a vast experience on all variants of Mig-21 and is OEM trained (Russia) on Mig-21 upgrade (Bison) aircraft.

  Air Officer has tenanted various staff appointments at Air HQs and Command HQs. He was Chief Engineering Officer of an operational base in western Sector and Commanding Officer of ‘Ground Duty Officers’ Categorisation Board’. He is an alumnus of DSSC, Wellington and HACC at College of Air Warfare, Hyderabad.

Prior to assuming the appointment of AOC, CSDO he was posted to RCI (Research Centre Imarat) DRDO, Hyderabad and was working on various indigenous weapon systems under development.
