Additional SHO Sub Inspector Naveen Phogat of police station Sector 39 and others booked on charge of kidnapping , extortion, of Rs. One crore from Businessman Sanjay Goyal S/o Shivpal Goyal R/o H.No. 13679 Ganesh Nagar Bathinda, under sections 365, 386, 420, 506 and 120 B. Mr. Daljit Singh Sub Inspector has been assigned the task as investigation Officer for further investigation. Phogat ran away from Police Station. The case was registered on invention of SSP Ms. Avneet Kaur and personally supervising the investigation.
Complaintant told the police that he told his one of his acquaintance Sarvesh who deals in Currency, gave Phone No . 9988531010 of one Jitender a businessman of Aero City Mohali. Complaint told politce that they reached Bathinda to Mohall Aero City at around 02.45 PM. Raj Kumar was driving the car and I was sitting in the front passenger seat. At around 05.30-6.00 PM I along with my acquaintance Raj Kumar reached the said location by following the address H.No.2434 C Block Aero: City Airport Road location of Jitender.
According to Location Bright Immigration Address 2434 C Block Aero City Airport Road Mohall, a gentleman came to our car and told us together that your work will be done as told by Sarvesh. You came behind my car in your car and after that Jitender in his black color Mercedes, in which 2 men were already sitting, drove ahead of our car and we followed behind him.

After that, Jitender and Gill told us that we have to change our Indian currency of 2000 denomination but our currency is not changing and since morning we are being harassed. On which I opened two packets of Indian Currency (500-500 Denomination) worth 20 Lakhs in two packets, totaling 40 Lakhs and said that the remaining 60 Lakhs are kept in the trunk of the car. You can do it to which he said that we have faith and you will wait a little while and your work will be done.
When by evening the currency note was note changed and three people came towards our car, one of them was in police dress, one was wearing paint, brown shoes and light yellow color shirt was worn or the third one was wearing jeans or black shirt.
The person wearing uniform patted my car from behind and shouted that say to open dicky. Meanwhile, a person who was wearing khaki paint, brown shoes or a light yellow color shirt took the car key from Raj Kumar sitting on the driver seat with me by opening the window and opened the trunk of my car and the third person took both of our mobiles and put it on flight mode.
After this, the person wearing uniform sat on the driving seat of our car and I was sitting on the front seat and asked the driver Raj Kumar to sit on the back seat of the car . Then the person wearing khaki pant threanted and asked to remain silent.
The police took the car to the beat box at some distance and the person who took our mobile also came to the beat box with a Duster car, after which these three people took us out of the car and took us to the beat box. He sat down and took 1 crore rupees from our car which we had brought from home for change to Beat Box where they searched us and took cash of 1 lakh rupees from my left pocket and took the car of my acquaintance Raj Kumar.
The RC and Driving License was forcibly taken, meanwhile another tall person who was wearing jeans and a shirt and had a pistol next to him noted down the particulars of my D/L and R/C. Goyal told police that when they protested about taking money, mobile and papers, all of them threatened to kill us and told us to sit quietly.
After that, the person with khaki pants, brown shoes or light yellow color shirt put 1 crore 1 lakh rupees in cash, D/L, R/C Beat Box in the Duster car and left with him and after that the remaining three persons caught both of us and put us in our Honda City Car No. PB03AT 7027 and these three persons drove themselves and brought us to a deserted place near Sector 39 Ziri Mandi Shed, where , a person, after a while wearing khaki pants, brown shoes and light yellow shirt, reached.
The person came with a Duster car and these four people together threatened to kill us by showing us a deserted area and said that they will trap you in a case of illegal pistol or drugs and will make your life worse. If you can run away, run away. Don't look back and the gone back and told the episode to his family members and told the matter to the SSP Ms. Avneet Kaur.
