Gopi Chand Sandar, state chief of the All-India SC Yuvjan Samaj, has been appointed as a member of the core committee of the “Reservation Chor Pakdo Pakka Morcha” that has continued indefinite dharna outside the office of Director Welfare Department, Punjab, Mohali.
Senior leader Harnek Singh said that Sandar is a fighting leader who constantly raised the voice of the Morcha across Punjab. In recognition of the services rendered by him, he has been included in the core committee. It’s a matter of pleasure that people working in public interest are constantly associating with the organization.
(SUBHEAD)During the last few years, Sandar raised the issue of the barbaric murder of Bhim Tank in Abohar, Ajay murder case of Muktsar and another incident in Pali district of Rajasthan and succeeded in getting the accused punished.
People like Sandar are the gems of the society, who are continuously raising their voice against the atrocities against the Scheduled Castes. “I will soon also write a book on the life of Sandar so that future generations can get information about his struggle, ” he added.
On his nomination, Sandar thanked the Morcha and said that he will continue to provide all possible cooperation to the Morcha.
