Deputy Commissioner Dr Senu Duggal and District and Session Judge Jatinder Kaur last evening celebrated Raksha Bandhan with BSF personnel at Sadqi which is one of the three places across Punjab where retreat ceremony is organised each evening.

The DC while tying Rakhi to the jawans said, “The jawans are always on duty during every festival and stay away from their families. On this special day, we decided to let them feel the presence of their sisters with an expression of love, affection, gratitude and unity.”

(SUBHEAD)DJ Jatinder Kaur said, “BSF is protecting not only sisters but every citizen of the country. We are feeling very proud today of getting the privilege of tying Rakhis in the hands of soldiers.”
