(SUBHEAD)Throwing light on Verma’s life, it was revealed that Lala Lajpat Rai himself had appointed Verma as the provincial in-charge of Tilak Swaraj Kosh in a public meeting organized near Imperial Bank in Abohar. Verma ji served as the secretary of the Sahitya Sadan established by Swami Keshwanand, the immortal education saint of the desert, along with president Hazari Lal Rinwa and spread national language and Ayurveda in the region for many decades.
