ARMY CONDUCTS EX-SERVICEMEN RALLY

Chetak Corps of Sapta Shakti Command conducted an Ex-servicemen Rally at Government Sports Stadium, Nagaur on Sunday to resolve pension related anomalies and to extend medical and other assistance to the Veterans.

Lt Gen Sanjiv Rai, General Officer Commanding, Chetak Corps while addressing the gathering conveyed his gratitude to the Veterans for their invaluable service to the Nation and stressed upon them to continue their wholehearted support in Nation building.

(SUBHEAD)The Army had established numerous grievance resolution stalls for spot assistance to the veterans. These included Record Offices, Recruitment, Rehabilitation & Welfare, Army Welfare Education Society, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme, District Sainik Welfare office and many more.

The State Government also participated with great enthusiasm at the behest of the District Collector, Nagaur. A large number of State Department stalls ranging from Agriculture, Health, Electricity, Irrigation, Water Supply, Police Assistance and various banks were also set up.

Veer Naris, War Widows, Senior Veterans & Disabled Veterans were felicitated and provided assistance in varied forms.
