PRINCIPAL DR. MAHAJAN LEADS SWACHHTA DRIVE

Cleanliness Day was organized on Gandhi Jayanti with enthusiasm at DAV College Abohar.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Mahajan was joined in the cleaning the campus lawns by teachers and students, NSS volunteers, Red Ribbon Club. Students also participated in poetry recitation, poster making and declamation competitions.

Principal Dr. Mahajan called upon the children to follow the footsteps of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, and inspired them to keep their surroundings clean because only in cleanliness God resides and a healthy society can be created.

He highlighted the importance of Swachhta Abhiyan and motivated the students to remain dedicated towards the country and society. The students also presented patriotic songs. All those present took an oath to contribute selflessly in the development of the country.
