Colonel Jangvir Lamba (51) serving as an Indian Army Officer participated and successfully completed the IronMan Triathlon held in Malaysia (Langkawi).
Ironman Malaysia (Langkawi) is considered to be one of the toughest Ironman Triathlon Circuits in the world partially because of the intense heat and humidity at this time of the year. Col Jangvir Lamba completed the event consisting of 3.8 km swim, 180 km cycling and 42.2 km marathon in 16 hours and 41 mins. Col Lamba had earlier participated and successfully completed the Asia Pacific Championship of Ironman Triathlon held at Cairns, Queensland Australia on 18th June, 2023 and Ironman 70.3 held in Goa in Nov 2022.
Colonel Jangvir Lamba of Jaipur, a fourth generation Indian Army Officer has been a professional bodybuilder and a National Level bodybuilding judge with the Indian Body Builders Federation in the past.
