Dr. Nirmala Didi, Joint Chief Administrator of Brahma Kumaris, passed away at the age of 88. She breathed her last at 11 am on Friday in Ahmedabad hospital. The last rites will be performed at MuktiDham in Mount Abu on Saturday at 4 pm.
Dr. Nirmala Didi, born in 1935 at Mumbai, was talented since childhood. She completed MBBS in 1962. Then she came in contact with Brahma Kumaris. After receiving knowledge from the first Chief Administrator Mateshwari Jagdamba Saraswati (Mamma) and being influenced by her life, her interest in spirituality increased.
She first reached Mount Abu in 1964, where after meeting Brahma Baba, she resolved to render dedicated services from 1966 onwards.
