DCP Panchkula Sumer Pratap Singh said that some clubs, bars, cafes, lounge bars etc. in the city serve nicotine tobacco along with other harmful narcotic chemicals in different flavors which are harmful to the health of people who use them. There is a danger of spreading other types of infectious diseases, taking strict notice of this, as per the order of the Haryana state government, Section 144 has been implemented to completely ban hookah in the city, which will not be tolerated in the city at all. Under the orders, section 144 has been implemented to completely stop hookah in the district.
Police spokesperson said that DCP Sumer Pratap Singh taking strict action against those who run illegal hookah bars. The Club da Bodega bar was raided. During the raid, 5 hookahs and 7 packets of flavor Tambaku Golden were caught inside the club and a case was immediately registered against the club bar operator under Section 188/269/270 under Section 188/269/270 against the club bar operator.

OWNER ARRESTED TWO TIMES FOR RUNNING ILLEGAL HOOKAH BAR
Apart from this, on the night of 28.09.2023 under the leadership of police station Sector 05 in-charge Rupesh Chaudhary, 3 illegal hookahs were seized from the Tahiti restaurant for running illegal hookah and a case was registered against the Tahiti restaurant for violating Section 144 of the IPC. A case was registered under 188/269/270.
The owner of the Tahiti restaurant was arrested yesterday on 21.10.2023 while investigating the case. The identity of the accused is Sumit Juneja, son of Mr. Naresh Kumar Resident of Vasi Mansa Devi appeared as Panchkula.
Another incident, apart from this, 9 illegal hookahs were recovered during a raid in Da Circle Green Park Sector 6 on 24.09.2023 under the leadership of police station sector 05 in-charge Rupesh Chaudhary. A case was registered under Section 188/269/270 for violation of Section 144 by the police at Da Circle Green Park Sector 6.
The owner of the Circle Green Park Sector 6 was arrested on 21.10.2023 while conducting further investigation. The arrested accused was identified as Sandeep Chauhan son of Om Prakash resident of Sector 27 Panchkula.
