DELHI TRAFFIC POLICE ALERT ON CRICKET MATCH BETWEEN SUSTRALIA SND NETHERLANDS

For ICC World Cup Cricket Match between Australia and Netherlands at Arun Jaitely (Firozshah Kotla) Stadium on 25-10-2023 at 1400 hrs The cricket match between Australia and Netherlands of ICC World Cup, 2023 is scheduled for 25-10-2023 at Arun Jaitely Stadium, Delhi. For the convenience of general public and security reasons, certain traffic restrictions are imposed in and around the stadium.

DIVERSION/RESTRICTION: There will be diversion/restriction on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg and JLN Marg. No heavy  vehicles and buses shall be allowed on the roads, from Daryaganj to Bahadurshah  Zafar Marg and from Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road. Commuters are requested to avoid following roads from 12 noon to 12 midnight on the day of match i.e. 25.10.2023, when the spectators would be coming to the stadium and congestion is expected:

1. Rajghat to JLN Marg
2. J.L.N Marg from R/A Kamla Market to Rajghat
3. Asaf Ali Road from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate
4. Bahadurshah Zafar Marg from Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk to Delhi Gate.

ENTRY TO THE STADIUM

1. Gate Nos. 1,2,3,4,5,6 &7 are located on the Southern side of the Stadium & entry o these gates shall be entertained from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg.
2. Gate Nos. 8,9,10,11,12,13,14 & 15 are located on the Eastern side of the Stadium on the road and entry to these gates shall be entertained from J.L.N Marg next to Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal .
3. Gate nos. 16, 17 & 18 are located on the Western Side of the stadium & entry to hese gates shall be entertained from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, near Petrol Pump.

PARKING

1. Limited parking is available for labeled vehicles in the proximity of the stadium. Display of car parking label on windscreen is mandatory. Vehicle number must be written on parking label. The vehicles without valid parking label shall not be allowed in the proximity of the Stadium.
2. Car parking label holders are advised to take Ring Road, JLN Marg , Asaf Ali Road or Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (“U” turn at Delhi Gate is allowed). Entry to parking lots P1, P3 and P4 shall be from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg only (near the petrol Pump).

GENERAL VEHICLE

No Vehicle shall be allowed to be parked on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg , JLN Marg and ing Road from Rajghat to I.P Flyover (Both the carriageways) on the match day. Vehicles parked on these roads shall be towed away and prosecuted as per law.

PARK AND RIDE FACILITY 

Park and Ride facility is available for Spectators and Unlabeled Vehicles. All spectators coming in their vehicles may reach the following Park & Ride sites, to avail the facility or walk down to the stadium.

1. Mata Sundari Parking
2. Shanti Van Parking
3. Under Veldrome Road
➢ All buses from these sites will start their services 2 hours before the match and will continue till one hour after the start of match. The bus service from the
stadium to their respected destinations will start as soon as the game ends and will continue for one hour after the match ends.
➢ Spectators using App based Taxi and other Taxies should use the service lane on Ring Road between I.P Flyover & Rajghat crossing for drop and pickup.
