SEMINAR ORGANIZED UNDER DRUG-FREE SWARNIM BHARAT MAHA ABHIYAN

Under the guidance of Akhil Vishav Gayatri Parivar Shanti Kunj Haridwar, Gayatri Parivar Trust Shaktipeeth Nihal Khera and Akhil Vishav Gayatri Parivar Seva Samiti Abohar, a seminar on the role of Yoga in de-addiction was organized at Sardar Patel Medical Institute of Nursing and Hospital under the Drug-free Swarnim Bharat Maha Abhiyan.

Institute President Dr. Gauri Shankar Mittal inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Director Gautam Sharma, Principal Harinder Kaur, Gayatri Parivar trustee Dr. Ramesh Kumar Verma was present. Hiralal Chauhan, manager of Gayatri Shaktipeeth Nihal Khera, said that Shanti Kunj has called for freeing the country from drug addiction by organizing seminars and de-addiction rallies across the country.

(SUBHEAD)Assistant Professor of Yoga, Dr. Navneet Malethia from Sanskrit University, Jaipur said that yoga plays an important role in de-addiction. Chief guest Dr. Neerja SMO Civil Hospital administered the oath to the students not to take drugs in their life.

Psychiatrist Dr. Mahesh said that the student who does yoga in his life can never go towards drug addiction. Dr. Ramesh Verma, Ex Dy. Director of the Health Department said that if the youth of the country are healthy, intelligent, self-reliant and service-oriented, then the nation will become strong, superior, prosperous and happy. A de-addiction rally was also organized.
