(MOREPIC1)The vigil troops belonging to BSF and Punjab police have recovered 1.630 Kg heroin during a joint search operation carried out today morning near Gatti Mathar village in Ferozepur Sector.
As per information, yesterday night the BSF troops on duty had observed a suspicious movement of a drone near the border fencing. Today the BSF troops along with Punjab police, carried out a search operation during which two packets of heroin weighing 1.630 kg, were recovered from the fields in Gatti Mathar village which were wrapped with yellow adhesive tape.
It is pertinent to mention here that on October 23, the BSF troops had recovered a drone near Rau Ke Hithar village in Mamdot area.
