The BSF troops have intercepted a drone near Tendi Wala village, situated few meters away from the border fencing.
While divulging details, the BSF spokesperson said that during the intervening night of 3-4 November, the BSF troops observed the movement of a suspected drone near Tendi Wala village following which the BSF troops had fired few rounds towards the drone.
Later during a search operation, the BSF troops recovered a drone (A Quardcopter of Model DJI Mavic 3 Classic) from the fields near Army Dhussi Bandh area adjacent to the village.
Earlier on October 3 also, the BSF troops had intercepted a drone near Rau ke Hithar village in Mamdot area. On October 28, another movement of drone was reported near Gatti Mathar village in Mamdot and later during a joint operation, 1.630 kg heroin was recovered.
