DC AND DISTRICT JUDGE CELEBRATE DIWALI AT THE ORPHANAGE

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal and District and Sessions Judge Jatinder Kaur visited the Matra Chhaya Anath AshramAlamgarh and celebrated Diwali with the children. They also cut a cake together with the children and presented gifts to them. They wished the children a happy Diwali and inspired them to celebrate Green Diwali.

The DC said that the ashram is being run by the district administration under the leadership of the District Child Protection Officer. There are 21 children in the ashram who have no parents. The district administration shares happiness with them by celebrating the festivals.

(SUBHEAD)Dr. Duggal said that the district administration is providing facilities to these children in all respects without making them feel the lack of parents. She said that the children willhave to face no problem in living. Meanwhile, a song was sung by the talented children.

Secretary District Legal Services Authority Amandeep Singh, District Child Protection Officer Ritu Bala, District Program Officer Navdeep Kaur and others were present.
