NATURE AT ITS BEST THEME BASED NATURE PARK AT BATHINDA MILITARY STATION

An extensive campaign was undertaken under the aegis of Chetak Corps for beautification and upliftment of Bathinda Military Station to provide better quality of life to the residents of the station. A theme based Nature Park namely 'Chetak Meadows- The Garden of Joy was dedicated to the military station by Lieutenant General Sanjiv Rai, General Officer Commanding, Chetak Corps.

The theme park was conceptualized in the month of June 2023 aimed at a holistic facelift of the Sagat Singh Auditorium Complex and was completed in three months. The site was selected as it is centrally located to all residential areas of the Military Station.

The theme park includes extensive green cover, gaming zone, play area for children, Innovative use of metal scrap to create artefacts, paintings depicting the rich heritage of our country, water bodies and environment friendly initiatives. The Nature Park has been a centre of attraction in the station. The nature park is in sync with 'Green India, Clean India', 'Amrit Sarovar' and Swachata 30 initiatives.
