His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development, His Excellency Mohamed Al Balooshi and senior officials of the DCD visited the Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi.
Guiding His Excellency to the Mandir’s grand entrance, Swami Brahmaviharidas revealed a distinctive water feature that gracefully rises upwards against the falling water, symbolizing the essence of life and its spiritual journey – a constant effort to rise amidst obstacles and challenges seeking to pull one down.
Observing the detailed carvings of the Ramayan depicted on the outside of the spire that will house Bhagwan Shri Ram, His Excellency joyously expressed, “This Mandir is really beyond my expectations… It is really a masterpiece of art. I have seen today the effort that has been put in by the swamis and volunteers. This is a place of worship where everyone from the UAE will come. Soon, we will celebrate the opening together.”
