On secret information on January 15 received by Spl. Staff/SHD regarding running of prostitution racket in the guise of Spa & Massage Centre at SPA NOW, Ashish Tower, Karkarduma Community Center Market, Anand Vihar, Shahdara, Delhi.
Immediately, a joint team of Special Staff & PS Anand Vihar was constituted comprising SI Sunil, SI Piyush, SI Deepak, ASI Pramod, HC Akram, HC Sarvesh, HC Anuj, HC Vijay, HC Kapil, HC Prashant, W/HC Preet Kaur, Ct. Shubham, W/Ct Manju & W/Ct. Muskaan was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Vikas I/C Spl. Staff/SHD & SHO/PS Anand Vihar.
Mr. Surendera Choudhary, IPS, DCP, Shahdara Distt., said, one decoy customer was sent in SPA, He was bargained and finally Rs. 1000/- from decoy customer was charged for massage. Thereafter, they shown him some girls for sex & told to choose any girl for sex, thereafter decoy customer was charged Rs. 1000/- extra for sex. The decoy customer signaled the team by giving a missed call. The team conducted the raid on the said premises and apprehended the 02 persons (01 male & 01 female) from SPA on the spot.(SUBHEAD)
Accordingly, a Case FIR No. 0024/24 dated 15/01/24 u/s 3/4/8 Immoral Traffic (prevention) Act 1956 has been registered in P.S. Anand Vihar.
The License is found issued in the name of Lokesh Jain. He was not present at the time of raid. An application will be moved before Hon’ble Court for sealing of said premises and intimation will be sent to SDM concerned for cancellation of license. Investigation of the case is in progress.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Madan Kumar s/o. Rajinder Pandit r/o. Karkarduma, Anand Vihar, Delhi Age-30. He is manager of SPA NOW. He is previously found involved in case FIR No. 451/22 u/s 3/4/8 Immoral Traffic (prevention) Act 1956, P.S. Anand Vihar and one SPA girl.
RECOVERY: Rs. 2000/- paid by the decoy customer.
Further investigation is underway.
