On the martyrdom day of freedom fighter immortal martyr Hemu Kalani, the pride of Sindhi community, the respected District Sindhi Maha Panchayat paid tribute to him at Riddheshwar Palace. MLA Ganesh Raj Bansal, Chairman Sumit Rinwa, Councillor Gurdeep Brar Babbi, Nagina Bai, Sunil Amlani, Kaur Singh Khosa, Jagdeep Singh also participated in the program. The same was presided over by Sindhi Maha Panchayat District President Vijay Peshwani.

Hemu Kalani was hanged at the age of 19 in a fight against the British rulers. He had an important contribution in the independence of India. We have to inculcate the spirit of serving the country in children and the service and sacrifice made by Hemu Kalani.
