PUNJAB SECURED 165 RUNS LEAD OVER CHANDIGARH

Host Punjab secured a convincing 165 runs lead over UT boys on the second day of the Col CK Nayudu Trophy match being played at PCA, Mullanpur..

After reducing UT boys at mere 152 runs, Punjab was all out for 317 runs. On the second day, Punjab extended its overnight score of 95/3 and added 222 more runs. Pukhraj Mann (96) missed a century while Salil Arora scored 86 runs.

From the visiting side, Chiraz (3/53) and Sarthak Sharan (3/84) took three wickets each. Chandigarh scored 46/1 before the stumps were drawn. Arnav (3) went cheaply while unbeaten Harnoor Singh (15) and skipper Arjun Azad (26) remained on the crease.
