GOVERNOR TO ATTEND THE CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE 37TH SURAJKUND INTERNATIONAL CRAFTS MELA

Haryana Governor Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya will be the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony of the 37th Surajkund International Crafts Mela on February 18. The Mela started on February 2, showcasing artworks by artists from India and abroad, and presenting glimpses of their culture by domestic and international artists.

The 37th Surajkund International Crafts Mela has witnessed unprecedented participation from artists from around the world and India. Hosted for the first time in 1987, Surajkund Crafts Mela was initiated to showcase the richness and diversity of handicrafts, handloom, and India's cultural heritage.

With the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Textiles, Culture, Foreign Affairs, and the Haryana Government, the Surajkund Mela Authority and Haryana Tourism Corporation jointly organised this crafts Mela is becoming a centre of attraction.
