Police spokesperson while giving information said that strict action is being taken against illegal hookah in the city under the guidance of Police Commissioner Sibas Kabiraj in which different teams of police have raided clubs, lounge bars, hotels, restaurants, during raids last year, 39 cases were registered and 80 club operators were arrested from whom 331 hookahs were seized. In this action so far this year, the police have registered cases against 5 clubs, 5 club managers have been arrested from whom a total of 22 hookahs have been seized.
Apart from this, the Police Commissioner said that different teams of police have been deployed in the city by whom continuous investigation and monitoring is being done and Section 144 has been implemented banning hookah in the city regarding illegal hookah in the district.
If any club bar, lounge bar, hotel, restaurant, etc. is found to be violating the law, then action is being taken against him immediately by registering a case for violating the law. Apart from this, the police have arrested 10 clubs, restaurants in strict action against illegal hookah. Illegal hookah practice has been closed by canceling the license.

Violation will be registered and legal action will be taken. The police commissioner said that tobacco served in hookah contains nicotine which is very harmful to health, which is banned in the city if any club, bar violates the order.
Apart from this, the police commissioner appealed to the public and said that if you have any information about illegal hookah in any club bar, lounge bar, hotel, restaurant, etc., then send it immediately to my number 74190-00001. No club, bar etc. will be spared for running illegal hookah.
Similarly, if any club bar, lounge bar, hotel, restaurant, etc. is found to be serving hookah, strict action will be taken immediately against him for violating section 144. There is a complete ban on hookah in the city, which will not be tolerated at all, and similarly, there will be constant surveillance and raids by different teams of the police.
