The Fazilka police have arrested the fugitive Aman Skoda from the house of Sudhir resident of Varanasi.SSP Varinder Singh Brar said that Amandeep Kamboj @ Aman Skoda resident of Chak Punna Wali alias Khilchian PS Vairo ke District Fazilka was on the run for many years. A reward of 2 lakh rupees was placed by the Department of Police for his arrest.
He said that in order to arrest Aman Skoda, for the last 4/5 years Fazilka police formed different teams and conducted raids regularly in Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Panchkula, Rajasthan and Haryana. He used to change his places to escape, because a large number of cases have been registered against him under Sections 307, 420, 384, 326, 365, 465, 467, 471, 120 B IPC and IT Act.
(MOREPIC2)(SUBHEAD) The SSP said that 38 cases were registered in different districts: Fazilka 20, Fatehgarh Sahib 1, Ferozepur 11, Moga 3. SAS Nagar 1, Patiala 2.Aman Skoda was declared Proclaimed Offender u/s 82 CrPC in 11 cases and was absconder us 299 CrPC in 26 cases.
General public has been questioning the Punjab Police for the arrest of Aman Skoda. Today Amandeep Kamboj @ Aman Skoda was produced in a Court of Fazilka and police remand of Aman Skoda was obtained till 20 March. Investigation is going on.
