PLAYERS OF BUDO KAI DO MIXED MARTIAL ARTS FEDERATION OF INDIA BAG MEDALS IN INDIA AKAI OPEN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP

In a major development, players of Budo Kai do Mixed Martial Arts federation of India bagged Gold. Silver and Bronze Medals in India Akai Open Karate Championship held from April 6 to April 7, 2024 at Kapurthala, Punjab.

While Sukhjeet Kaur clinched Gold medal and Best Fighter award in the tournament, other participants who bagged the Gold medal included Amninder Kaur, Komalpreet Kaur,Garvita Kaushal, Pritam Dass, lakshay Kaushal, Gursimran Singh and Dilpreet Singh.

(SUBHEAD)The Silver Medal winners include Sajanpreet Singh, Harjot Singh, Lovejot Singh, Jashanpreet Singh, Mintu Singh and Gurmeet Kumar while those who bagged Bronze Medals at the tournament included Simaranjeet Singh, Vikas, Kulwinder Singh, Harshpreet Singh, Karanveer Singh and Pardeep Kumar.

All the team members were awarded by Mr. Sharanjeet Singh, President, Budo kai do Mixed Martial Arts federation of India. While congratulating the winners and the participants, he said, “It is a matter of great pride that all the members performed exceptionally well in the competition and it is their hard work and the devotion of Coach Harpreet Kaur, Balram Hakla, Munish Sharma and Suman Lata Sharma under whose guidance these athletes achieved the feat.”

Medals, shields, awards are very important for participants as they are a morale booster for the players. I believe such attainments help them perform better in the future and become inspiration for aspiring players as well. I wish all the players more success in the upcoming tournaments, concluded Mr. Sharanjeet Singh.
