SHARP-SHOOTER OF LAWRANCE BISHNOI-KALE RANA GANG INVOLVED IN SENSATIONAL FIRING FOR EXTORTION ARRESTED

INCIDENT FOR EXTORTION IN MOTI NAGAR TOOK PLACE ON 31.03.2024, ONE COUNTRY MADE SINGLE SHOT PISTOL WITH 2 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED

In view of upcoming general elections and to keep a check over the incidents of firings in the area of Outer North District, periodic briefings are being done on regular basis. Emphasis is being given to developing information regarding budding criminals susceptive to be hired for the commission of crimes in Delhi. In this regard, a dedicated team of AATS/OND was tasked to keep watch, track, and check such activities. They were tasked to apprehend criminals carrying illegal weapons. 

On 08.04.2024, secret information was received by the staff of AATS/OND regarding the movement of a person carrying illegal firearms and he was involved in the firing case of PS Moti Nagar a week ago. Accordingly, the information was developed and a team comprising of SI Vinti Sharma, SI Suresh Dhaka, ASI Parmanand, HC Naveen, HC Jitender, HC Ravinder was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Raj Malik, I/c AATS/OND and overall supervision of ACP Ops/OND Sh Yash Pal Singh.

(SUBHEAD)As per the information a raid was conducted and one person was apprehended namely Satender Kumar @ Sikander Kr. R/o Prahladpur, Delhi, and permanent resident of Vill- Bargawan, PS Piswan, Distt. Sitapur, UP Age 20 years. During investigation, he disclosed that he came in touch with one of the gang members of Lawrance Bishnoi, Kala Rana and Kapil Mann gang in September-2023.

Mr. Ravi Kumar Singh, IPS, DCP, outer North Distt., said, in  the last week of March-24 he was directed via Signal App to reach a designated place in Naraina where he met with another boy who was riding a Scooty (Identification yet to be established). They both went to the house of victim in Moti Nagar where the rider opened several fires at about 2 PM on 31.03.24 and ran away. After the incident, he was dropped by the rider near Rithala metro station and thereafter he hid himself from arrest by staying at different places.

During further interrogation, one Mobile phone has also been recovered from his possession. He has also led the police team and get recovered the clothes he wore during that firing incident. Accordingly, a case under Sec 25 Arms Act has been registered vide FIR No. 302/24 at PS Shahbad Dairy, Delhi and investigation has been taken up.

KNOW THE ACCUSED: Satender Kumar @ Sikander Kr. R/o Prahladpur, Delhi, and permanent resident of Vill- Bargawan, PS Piswan, Distt. Sitapur, UP age about 20 years. He has studied up to 9th class in Prahladpur, Delhi. He was working as a labour in a factory in Shahbad Dairy, Prahladpur, Delhi and thereafter indulged in these activities.

CASES WORKED OUT: –FIR No. 182/24, dated: U/s 336/427/34 IPC & 27/54/59 Arms Act, PS Moti Nagar, Delhi.

RECOVERY:  One country made semi-automatic pistol and two live cartridges,  ⁠clothes worn by the accused i.e. T-shirt, Jeans, Shoes and white stall (Parna) at the time of firing in Moti Nagar area on 31.03.24., ⁠mobile phone of the accused.

Further Investigation is in progress.
