Former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi, at a rally in Anoopgarh, made his sharpest attack on the national media till date. He said that during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, it was revealed that the biggest problem of the country is unemployment.
The second big problem is inflation, but to divert attention from such real issues and problems, the national and regional media of the country either shows the pre-wedding slots of the Ambani family or talks about Bollywood stars. Media praises Modi 24 hours a day.
Rahul said that when he checked 200 big companies of the country including the media, a very surprising thing came to light. 50 percent of the population in the country is of the backward class, 15 percent is scheduled caste, 15 percent is minority, 8 percent is tribal and 5 percent is poor general category. In this way, these classes constitute almost 90 percent of the population. But none of them are among the owners of the above 200 big companies.

Referring to the media companies, Rahul Gandhi said that only 20-25 people have control over the media. The government gives them crores of rupees in multiple ways. That is why national and regional media divert the public's attention from real issues of wider public interest like unemployment and inflation.
