MONDAY MEGA STORY: SMILE RETURNED, NEAR AND DEAR ONES UNITED AGAIN WITH EFFORTS OF DELHI CRIME POLICE

TOTAL 216 (150 GIRLS  & 66 BOYS) MINOR CHILDREN REPORTEDLY MISSING/KIDNAPPED FROM VARIOUS POLICE STATIONS OF DELHI WERE RECOVERED. 11 ADULTS REPORTED MISSING/ABDUCTED WERE ALSO RECOVERED. OUT OF THE TOTAL RECOVERED CHILDREN, 89 MINOR CHILDREN’S WERE RECOVERED BY CONDUCTING RAIDS IN DIFFERENT STATES OF INDIA. (OUTSIDE THE JURISDICTION OF DELHI).  38 SUSPECTS OF KIDNAPING CASES WERE ALSO GOT ARRESTED/APPREHENDED. MORE THAN 150 CASES OF KIDNAPPING/ABDUCTION REGISTERED AT THE VARIOUS POLICE STATION OF DELHI WORKOUT.  16 UNSOLVED CASES TRANSFERRED BY THE HON’BLE HIGH COURT OF DELHI TO AHTU/CRIME BRANCH, WERE WORKOUT IN THIS YEAR.  APART FROM TRACING THE MINOR CHILDREN’S 17 PROCLAIMED OFFENDERS OF HEINOUS/NON HEINOUS CASES AND 11 WANTED CRIMINALS OF HEINOUS CRIMES WERE ALSO ARRESTED.

Mr. Vikram Singh, IPS, DCP, Crime Branch, has said that the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, (AHTU) Crime Branch stationed at Sector-16, Rohini, Delhi is a specialized units meant to handle specialized cases related to Human Trafficking, Kidnapping , Abduction, Missing Children , unclaimed children, beggars, Child labours, and Sexual abuse cases of children . The matters handled by AHTU are also directly or indirectly monitored by National Human Rights Commission, DCPCR, various Courts including The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, The Hon’ble Delhi High Court and DCW etc.

The following activities are also performed by AHTUs like:

• Rescue/ rehabilitate unclaimed children, beggars, child labours. • Raids in Red Alert areas to rescue sexually abused children • Raids in Industrial area to rescue Child Labour.• Surveillance with Video Camera to point out whether any gang is involved in organized begging by children.• Door to door survey of Children’s Homes under operation ‘Milap’, Muskaan etc., where children are verified and their whereabouts are traced.

TEAMS AND OPERATIONS :-

The teams of Inspector Virender Kumar comprising of HC Anuj and W/HC Sukanya, Insp Mukesh Kumar comprising of SI Vishal Gupta, SI Balraj, W/ASI Sunita and HC Amit, Insp Mohinder Lal comprising of W/SI Meenakshi, ASI Manoj, ASI Jitender amd ASI Hukam Chand, Insp. Ina Kumari comprising of W/SI Gunjan Singh, ASI Bijender, ASI Rajesh, HC Upender, HC Naresh, Ct. Mohit and W/Ct. Mintu, Insp. Manoj Dahiya comprising of W/SI Pinki, W/SI Bimla, W/SI Ranjana, ASI Gopal Krishan, HC Ajeet, HC Jaikishan, Ct. Dharamraj, W/HC Monika and W/HC Sweety under the supervision of ACP Arun Kumar Chauhan and close supervision of Sh.Vikarm Singh, DCP/Crime-III, worked with great devotion and have conducted multiple raids in various areas of Delhi NCR & various states of India, to trace the minor/major victim’s reportedly missing/Kidnapped in cases registered in various police stations of Delhi & cases assigned and investigated by AHTU/Crime Branch.

OVERALL PERFORMANCE OF AHTU/CRIME BRANCH IN YEAR 2024 TILL NOW.

(I) Total 216 (150 Girls & 66 Boys) Minor children reportedly missing/Kidnapped from various police stations of Delhi were recovered. 11 adults reported missing/abducted were also recovered.
(II) Out of the total recovered children, 89 minor children’s were recovered by conducting raids in different states of India. (Outside the jurisdiction of Delhi).
(III) 38 suspects of kidnaping cases were also got arrested/apprehended.
(IV) More than 150 cases of kidnapping/abduction registered at the various police station of Delhi workout.
(V) 16 unsolved cases transferred by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi to AHTU/Crime Branch, were workout in this year.
(VI) Apart from tracing the minor children’s 17 proclaimed offenders of heinous/non heinous cases and 11 wanted criminals of heinous crimes were also arrested.
(VII) 32 cases and complaints received were also disposed off.

FEW NOTABLE GOOD WORKS :-

(i) On 24.09.2024, one mentally disable woman missing from P.S Ranhola since last 06 months was recovered within 04 days after the matter was marked to AHTU/Crime Branch by the Hon’ble Delhi High Court.
(ii) On 06.09.2024, one girl & a boy were recovered from Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, U. P after conducting continuous raids in N.S.C. Road, Chennai, Tamilnadu, Auroville, Puducherry and Lucknow U.P. for seven days after the matter was marked to AHTU/Crime Branch by the Hon’ble Delhi High Court.
(iii) On 28.08.2024, one mentally disable missing lady & her minor son age about 05 yrs were recovered from Purnia Bihar after a period of one year since her son reported missing. The matter was assigned to AHTU/Crime Branch by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.
(iv) On 07.08.2024, one minor girl was recovered from the Delhi area within 04 days of matter assigned to AHTU by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.
(v) On 03.12.2024, 05 minor victim girls (aged 14 to 17 years) of human trafficking were recovered from Jharkhand to Delhi were recovered from the different areas of Delhi.
