SENSATIONAL 24-ROUND FIRING CASE OCCURRED IN GURUGRAM ON 14TH JANUARY SOLVED, AFTER FIRING THE SHOOTERS LEFT SLIPS BEARING THE NAME OF AN INFAMOUS BAMBHIHA GANG, INFORMATION WAS RECEIVED ABOUT A STOLEN CAR, BUT THE DRIVER TURNED OUT TO BE AN ASSOCIATE OF A BAMBHIHA GANG, HIGHLIGHTING THE EFFECTIVE POLICING BY TEAM SOUTH, THREE ARRESTED WITH RECOVERY OF 01 STOLEN CAR.

Ahead of Delhi Legislative Assembly Elections-2025, the South District has stepped up its efforts with vigilant monitoring and swift action to foster an environment conducive to free & fair elections. With a focus on preventing any disruptions or unlawful activities, special measures to curb the organized & street crime have been carried out in South District area.
Police visibility has been enhanced by mobilizing optimal staff and suspects are being questioned using the “Roko-Toko” drive. The multiple teams of South District are actively working and keeping sharp vigil to curb the crime in the area particularly focusing on serious offenses involving use of firearms by criminals, extortion cases and arrest of proclaimed offenders.
Following the directions, The team special staff is continuously working on the Gangs, illegal Firearms suppliers, and Auto Lifters active in the area South District by way of collecting human intelligence, technical surveillance, checking criminal records and CCTV footages etc.
The team of Special Staff, South District has done commendable work by arresting three persons namely Sunil @ Lala, Lalit @ Rahul and Faheem @ Langda connecting to a sensational 24 round firing case of Gurugram, Haryana by a shooter of Infamous Bambhiha and Neeraj Bawania Gang in case FIR No. 33/25, dt. 14-01-25, U/s 25 Arms Act, 125/288/324(4) B.N.S. PS Palam Vihar, Gurugram, Haryana. Upon their instance, 01 stolen car was recovered.
The team of Special Staff, SD comprising SI Dinesh, SI Yamin, ASI Manoj, ASI Sanjay, HC Anoop, HC Praveen, HC Manish, HC Sunil, HC Akshay, HC Narender, HC Rakesh, HC Anil, Ct. Ashok, Ct. Yogender, Ct. Bill Khoichung led by Insp. Girish Chandra I/C, Special Staff/SD under the supervision of ACP/Operations/SD Sh. Abhinendra Jain was formed to work on the criminals and remain alert by the way of deploying local intelligence, checking of cctv footage, patrolling in the area etc.
While the team members were working, they collected some vital and key inputs through local sources. In the intervening night of 25/26-01-25, secret information was received that a person would come in the area of Saket on a stolen car. The information was further developed and after confirming the credibility of the intelligence, the team laid a trap.
After a while, a car was seen coming in a suspicious condition, the driver was signaled to stop but instead of stopping he sped up and tried to flee. However, the team members succeeded in intercepting the car after painstaking efforts. The driver was identified as Sunil Yadav @ Lala and he was asked to produce the documents of the car.
Initially, he tried to mislead the police staff by stating wrong facts, however, on consistent questioning he broke down and disclosed that he alongwith his associate Lalit had stolen the car from Chattarpur Enclave area. On verification the car was found stolen from the area of PS Mehrauli and a case vide E-FIR No. 806/25, dt. 9-1-25, U/s 305(b) B.N.S. was found registered in this regard. Accordingly, the accused Sunil Yadav was arrested.
During further course of further investigation, on 29-01-25 the accused Lalit was also caught near Saket Mall and his interrogation revealed that he was also involved in the theft of the car with the accused Sunil. He further disclosed that some items of stolen car viz. Music system etc. were given to Faheem. Hence, accused Lalit was also arrested.
Thereafter, through surveillance and technical analysis location of the accused Faheem was zeroed down. In the intervening night of 31-01-25/01-02-25, a raid was conducted and the accused Faheem was also arrested from Saheen Bagh, Delhi. After his interrogation, he confessed that the accused Lalit had given him some articles of the stolen car. Accordingly, he was arrested and articles of stolen car were recovered.
INTERROGATION : During the course of sustained interrogation of all three accused, it revealed that Faheem has criminal background and he is associated with bambhiha gang active in Delhi/NCR. Faheem disclosed that the gangster contacted him to arrange a stolen motorcycle. Accordingly, he asked to Sunil Yadav @ Lala for arranging the same. Sunil Yadav further contacted his friend Lalit for arrangement of a stolen motorcycle. Lalit was using a stolen motorcycle affixing a false number plate. Later, both Sunil and Lalit gave the stolen motorcycle to Faheem and received money in lieu of the motorcycle. After that, the said stolen motorcycle was provided to shooters at Gurugram, Haryana by Faheem in the last week of December 2024.

On 14.01.25, two motorcycle-borne riders opened multiple fire shots at a house in Ashok Vihar Phase-III, Gurugram, and left slips mentioning the names of a bambhiha gang. A case FIR No. 33/25, Dt. 14-01-25, u/s 25 Arms Act, 125/288/324(4) B.N.S. was found registered at PS Palam Vihar, Gurugram, Haryana.

A case FIR No. 33/25, Dt. 14-01-25, u/s 25 Arms Act, 125/288/324(4) B.N.S. was found registered at PS Palam Vihar, Gurugram, Haryana.
As per FIR contents, on 14.01.25, the complainant R/o Gurugram, Haryana reported that some unknown persons had multiple fired on his house and thrown some slips bearing the name of an infamous Bambhiha Gang. Total 24 fired bullets were found at the spot with slips having names of Bambhiha-Neeraj Bawania gang. Further it was learnt that the motorcycle used by the shooters affixing fake number was stolen from the area of PS Ambedkar Nagar Delhi and regarding theft of the bike, a case E-FIR No.028699/24 dt. 20.09.24, u/s 305(b) B.N.S. found registered. The above investigation leads to the fact that the infamous Bambhiha gang and Neeraj Bawania gang was behind the firing incident of Ashok Vihar Gurugram through arrested accused and others.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: .Sunil @ Lala S/o Dhanpal R/o Maidan Garhi, Delhi. Age -23 yrs., Lalit @ Rahul S/o Rajesh R/o Fatehpur Beri, Delhi. Age 27 yrs. He was associated with notorious Gang. He was earlier residing Sanjay Camp, Dakshinpuri, Delhi. He used to work as delivery boy. He was previously found to be involved in six cases. Faheem @ Langda S/o Khurshid R/o Village Satla, Mawana, Meerut, U.P. Age 29 years. He used to work as a painter in Delhi & U.P. He was previously found to be involved in 07 criminal cases in Delhi and UP
