The  Director General of NCC, Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh, visited the Group Headquarters of National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Ambala Cantt on Thursday. The presence of Major General Manjeet Singh Mokha, Additional Director General, NCC Directorate PHHP&C increased the significance of the occasion.

(MOREPIC1)   (MOREPIC2)   The program started with Guard of honor to the Honorable Chief Guest Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh, by the disciplined and hard working NCC Cadets in true military tradition and displayed an atmosphere of respect for the chief guest.

There were lively conversations and discussions in the later segments of the program. Honorable Chief Guest interacted with the officers of NCC Group Headquarters, Ambala Cantt, thereby further strengthening the mission of NCC. It involved discussion on strategic initiatives, organizational challenges and recruitment plans with the aim of promote the organization further.

Besides this, the Chief Guest also met the Commanding Officers, Associate NCC officers and enthusiastic cadets of Ambala Group who are the backbone of the ethos and values of NCC. The interactions enabled sharing of information, exchange of information that define NCC. The occasion provided an opportunity to strengthen the core principles of leadership, discipline and patriotism.

This visit of the Chief Guest not only demonstrated his deep commitment towards NCC, but it also highlighted the strong relationship between the leadership and grassroots level of the organization. The presence of Major General Manjeet Singh Mokha, added in developing young talents and inculcating the spirit of national service. In promoting this, NCC underlines the collective dedication of leadership and united efforts.

In the end it can be said that the visit of Director General and Additional Director General of National Cadet Corps aimed to preparing future leaders and instilling discipline among the youth of the country. The unwavering commitment and dedication of NCC towards imparting the values of patriotism and service well appreciated.
