GIVE PRIORITY TO HUMAN VALUES IN TECHNICAL EDUCATION: KALRAJ MISHRA

Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra said on Monday that students should make innovations based on the eternal principles of Vedic India, which are compatible with nature.

Addressing the second convocation ceremony of Bikaner Technical University as the chief guest, he said that the objective of technical education is to recognize the unique abilities inherent in students and prepare them for future opportunities. There is a need to think about giving priority to human values in technical education. There should be such research and research in universities so that local products can be manufactured from the resources of the country. The technology developed by the University of Technology should be in tune with the times with the objective of human welfare.

Congratulating the students who received gold medals, the Governor said that 11 of those who received gold medals were girls. This indicates that if given the opportunity, girls can strengthen their future as well as the future of the nation. 

Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Ambrish Sharan Vidyarthi welcomed the dignitaries and presented the innovations and progress report of Bikaner Technical University.

The Governor awarded a total of 20 gold medals including B.Arch, B.Design, B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA courses for the year 2024. A total of 3,171 degrees were given which included 2,529 of B.Tech, 18 of B.Tech (Hons), 426 of MBA, 139 of MCA, 42 of M.Tech, 3 of B.Arch, 14 of B-Design.

Before this the Governor lit a lamp in front of the idol of Mother Saraswati.
