The Rock N Roll Federation of India (RRFI), in affiliation with the World Federation of Acrobatic & Swing Dances, presented the 1st Indian Official Rock N Roll Training being conducted across three vibrant cities: Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Mohali. The training sessions were conducted by renowned master trainers from Russia, Olga and Ivan Yudin, who are distinguished world champions in rock and roll acrobatics. They bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise, imparting the nuances of this dynamic dance form to students and Indian coaches alike.
More than 180 school students, 55 competitive gymnasts and 31 coaches from karnataka, Jharkhand, Rajasthan , Jammu, Delhi and Maharashtra underwent training.
The Trainers and the participants at Rock n Roll Trainings showcased an outstanding performance, blending passion, energy, and skill in every step and also embracing a lifestyle of fitness and sportsmanship.
Dr. Gurjeet Bajwa, the General Secretary of RRFI, shared that this training program will open doors to exciting opportunities for existing athletes and enthusiasts alike shaping them into well-rounded individuals capable of excelling as world athletes, where dance and sports seamlessly intertwine to create a powerful, dynamic force.
St. Kabir Public School in Chandigarh has been designated as the Chandigarh Master Training Centre, while Shemrock School in Mohali will serve as the epicentre for training in their respective cities. This training program aims to introduce enthusiasts to the exhilarating world of rock and roll, combining athleticism, creativity, and artistry.
President Jas K Shan of RRFI expressed enthusiasm for this venture, stating that rock and roll provides a fantastic platform for athletes in various disciplines to explore fitness and technique within an engaging dance format. With a community spanning 40 years, rock and roll continues to captivate and inspire athletes worldwide. She added that Rock and roll acrobatics have a rich history, blending elements of gymnastics, aerobics, and dance into a captivating spectacle.
