BHAGWAN SHRI PARSHURAM JAYANTI CELEBRATED

On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Shri Parshuram, was celebrated with great pomp by the Sarv Brahmin Sabha.

A large number of people of the society gathered outside Sethi Palace, near the statue of Lord Shri Parashuram that was established by Kanti Bhardwaj in the memory of his father Deendayal Sharma and offered floral tributes. The Bhardwaj family was represented by Sunil Bhardwaj.

After performing Abhishek and changing clothes, a procession was taken out in the city under the leadership of Sabha President Ravi Kant Sharma. The procession started from Sethi Palace, passed through Circular Road, Bhagat Singh Chowk, Gaushala Road and returned to Sethi Palace where the Brahmin family Sadbhavna meeting was organized.

On the occasion school children took part in drawing, poetry, speech competition and quiz (Sanatan). 15 children of Sanskrit school from Fazilka mesmerized everyone by reciting Shlokas. They were honored by Gopal Nath Maharaj, Sudama Ji Maharaj, Brahma Chetan Ji Maharaj. After this Prasad was distributed.
