EXPLORING THE THEME OF DREAMING BIG, THE SHOW, SHOT IN CHANDIGARH, WILL PREMIERE ON JUNE 10TH AT 7:30 PM

Face2News/Chandigarh

Women have often been labelled “greedy” when aspiring for more in life, and Sony SAB’s upcoming and much-anticipated show Badall Pe Paon Hai is set to break this stereotype with an inspiring story of Baani (played by Amandeep) who against all odds works hard to provide a better life for her family. A differentiated show on television, that delves into a bold and pertinent topic of pushing one's boundaries and striving for more, Badall Pe Paon Hai is brought to life by the powerhouse producer duo, Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey.

The show follows the story of Baani, a middle class girl who struggles to make her ends meet, yet her aspirations are bigger than the obstacles she faces in life. A spirited and ambitious girl, Baani believes that wanting more from life is not a negative trait, but a step towards improving one’s life and achieving their dreams.

As Baani's aspirations grow, she unknowingly ventures into the dynamic and often male-dominated world of stock market and trading. 'Badall Pe Paon Hai' highlights her sacrifices, struggles, and the sheer willpower to turn her dreams into reality, one bold step at a time.

Set against the vibrant and culturally rich backdrop of Punjab, Baani's character is deeply rooted in the traditions and values of her homeland. Baani with an infectious optimism and an unyielding spirit will inspire viewers to relentlessly chase their dreams regardless of the obstacles they face.

(SUBHEAD)Speaking on the occasion, Sargun Mehta, Producer of Badall Pe Paon Hai said, “Creating 'Badall Pe Paon Hai' has been an incredibly fulfilling journey for me. This show is close to my heart because it embodies the spirit of perseverance and hope. Also, I was very intrigued with how so many women had made inroads into the world of stock market, a career mostly dominated by men, and I wanted to bring a story on this topic to television.

I have a deep connection with Punjab and we wanted to capture the essence of the place, its culture, and its people. Filming in real locations has brought an authenticity to the show that I believe viewers will appreciate. I hope this story resonates with our audience and inspires them to believe in themselves and their dreams.”

Amandeep Sidhu who is enacting a role of Baani Arora, “Being part of a Punjab-based show like 'Badall Pe Paon Hai' feels like coming home. As a Sardarni, the culture, accent, and nuances are second nature to me, which has made portraying Baani a truly rewarding experience. Filming in real locations and the beautiful fields of Punjab has added an authentic touch to the show, and I am thoroughly enjoying every moment. Baani's unwavering courage and determination to overcome obstacles and chase her dreams resonate deeply with me. I believe her story will inspire viewers to pursue their own dreams, no matter how difficult they may seem.”

Tune in to Sony SAB to watch 'Badall Pe Paon Hai' from 10th June, airing every Monday to Saturday at 7:30 PM
