CHIEF MINISTER NAYAB SINGH HONORED PADMA SHRI AWARDEES, SAYS GREAT PRIDE FOR HARYANA

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh today felicitated Padma Shri awardees Dr. Hariom, Prof. Ramchandra Sihag, Sh. Gurvinder Singh and Sh. Mahabir Singh Guddu at his residence Sant Kabir Kutir in Chandigarh. During this the Chief Minister also honoured them with shawls.

He said that it is a matter of great pride for the state of Haryana that the talent of these awardees who have achieved remarkable accomplishments in various fields have been recognized by the central government with the Padma Shri award. The younger generation should be aware of these highest civilian awards and should draw inspiration from such awardees, he said.

Notably, Sh. Mahabir Singh Guddu has been honored for promoting folk culture, Prof. Ramchandra Sihag for adopting beekeeping on a large scale, Dr. Hariom for promoting organic farming, and Sh. Gurvinder Singh for his remarkable work in social welfare.
