In the PCA's Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup, Trident Stallions registered a stunning 7-wicket win against Royal Phantoms and topped the points table. Trident Stallions is the first team to register four wins in Season-2 and has 16 points after 5 matches. In the league match, Royal Phantoms scored 148/6 runs and in reply, Trident Stallions scored 151/3 to seal the win.

The Trident Stallions bowlers once again performed brilliantly and did not give Royal Phantoms a chance to score runs. Gurnoor Brar again took two wickets and Ramandeep Singh also dismissed two batsmen. Baltej and Shubham Rana took 1 wicket each for the team. After this, captain Prabhsimran Singh played an unbeaten innings of 59 runs in 46 balls. He was supported by Abhay Chaudhary and Ramandeep Singh.

In the match played at IS Bindra Stadium, Trident Stallions won the toss and decided to bowl first. Royal Phantoms had a slow start, but Jaskaranvir Singh Paul held one end. He played an innings of 73 runs in 60 balls and took the team to 148/6 runs in 20 overs. From Trident's bowling unit, Gurnoor took 2 wickets for 29 runs in 4 overs, while Ramandeep Singh took 2 wickets for 21 runs in 3 overs. Baltej Singh and Shubham Rana dismissed 1-1 batsmen amid good bowling.

In response, Trident Stallions did not have a good start to chase the target and Vihaan Malhotra (0) returned without opening the account. Abhay Chaudhary came to support Prabhsimran Singh and both of them made a partnership of 77 runs. Abhay was out after scoring 40 runs, while Salil Arora lost his wicket at 17 runs. Prabhsimran Singh stood firm and returned after leading the team to victory along with Ramandeep Singh. The captain scored an unbeaten 59 runs in 46 balls with the help of 6 fours and 1 six. Ramandeep Singh added an unbeaten 28 runs in 14 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes. Sohraab took 2 wickets and Garv took 1 wicket.
