YOGA FOR SELF AND SOCIETY” EVENT BY 2 CHANDIGARH BN NCC PROMOTES HOLISTIC WELLNESS.

The 2 Chandigarh Battalion National Cadet Corps (NCC), Chandigarh, organized a transformative event titled “Yoga for Self and Society” at POST GRADUATE GOVERNMENT COLLEGE, Sector 11.

The event aimed to promote physical and mental well-being through the practice of yoga, emphasizing its benefits for individuals and society at large.The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony graced by Col Paramjit Singh, VSM, Lt Col Narain Dass, and Associate NCC Officers, along with PI Staff and NCC Cadets.

(SUBHEAD)They highlighted the importance of yoga in fostering holistic health.Yoga experts led the attendees through various sessions, including asanas, pranayama, and meditation, focusing on enhancing flexibility, strength, and inner peace. Commanding Officer Col Paramjit Singh, VSM, of 2 Chandigarh BN NCC, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Yoga is not just a physical exercise but a pathway to mental clarity and emotional balance.

Through this event, we aim to instill a deeper understanding of yoga's role in nurturing both self and community wellness.”The event saw enthusiastic participation of 357 NCC cadets, staff members, and faculty members, reflecting the universal appeal and benefits of yoga. Interactive discussions on integrating yoga into daily life for sustained well-being were also featured.The “Yoga for Self and Society” event underscored the 2 Chandigarh BN NCC's commitment to promoting health and harmony among youth and the community.
