Mrs Rajwinder Kaur W/O Shri Satwinder Singh resident of Karnal , Haryana ,a known case of Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia was admitted at GMSH 16 on 4/07/24 .
The patient was previously undergoing chemotherapy at PGIMER Chd and was admitted at GMSH 16 for correction of her Anaemia. The patient was given one blood transfusion and this afternoon at around 4 pm she went to the washroom and hanged herself from the shower with her dupatta.
The hospital staff immediate tried to revive her but inspite of the best efforts of the doctors she could not be saved and was declared dead .
The police has been informed and the needful legal formalities are being done as per rules .
