BHAGMINDER CONSUMES TERRACE ZONE AS SUKHNA ZONE REGISTERED TWO WICKET WIN

A lethal bowling attack led by Bhagminder Lather helped Sukhna Zone to beat Terrace Zone by two wickets in a thrilling end at the ongoing UTCA Domestic Men's Seniors Tournament being played at Launching pad Cricket Academy.

Sukhna Zone won the toss and decided to field first in this match played at the Launching Pad Cricket Academy on Tuesday. Bhagminder (4/41) maintained tight bowling from the beginning and demolished the top order which further resulted in Terrace Zone to bundle out for 213 runs in the 47th over. Rahul Sharma (58) smashed half-century while skipper Manan Vohra (35), Mayank Sidhu (29) and Kunal Mahajan (27) also contributed handsomely. In reply, Sukhna Zone, once struggling at 108/4 recovered well to achieve the target in 38th over at the loss of eight wickets.

Bawa scored 75 runs off 68 balls studded with five sixes and three boundaries while Arjun Azad contributed 61 runs off 56 balls. His innings included two sixes and seven fours. Chiragveer Singh Dhindsa added 48 runs. From the opposition's side, Gurinder Singh (4/41) took four wickets.
