Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini along with BCCI’s Secretary Jay Shah will be gracing the closing ceremony of the Allengers Gully Cricket Tournament being organized by Chandigarh, UT Cricket Association and Chandigarh Police at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

While extending the invitation to CM at his residence on Saturday, UTCA’s President Sanjay Tandon confirmed that former Test cricketers Kapil Dev and Ashok Malhotra will also be the special invitees of UTCA felicitating the winners and runner ups of the categories.

Meanwhile, the outline of the semi-final matches of the tournament has also been chalked out. In the first semi-final match, team no. 2 and team 84 will face each other, while in the second clash will be between team no. 149 and team no. 203.

(SUBHEAD)Both the semi-finals will be held on Saturday at the Police Line Ground in Sector 26. On Friday, team no 2 defeated team no 57 by five runs. Team no 84 defeated team no 103 by seven wickets. Team no 149 defeated team no 164 by 13 runs.

Team no 203 defeated team no 246 by 18 runs. Meanwhile, in girls' categories, team no 3 will take on team no 14, while in the second match team no 35 lock horns against 36. In the quarter-finals, team no 3 defeated team no 9 by ten wickets.

Team no 35 defeated team no 26 by 80 runs. Team no 36 defeated team no 44 by 150 runs wherein Taisha Manchanda (128) hogged the limelight for her century. Team no 22 defeated team no 14 by eight wickets. The girls' semi-final matches will be held at Government High School, Sector 19.
