TricityShuttlers Badminton Academy (TSBA) dominated the YONEX SUNRISE Chandigarh State Senior & Junior badminton Championships-2024 which concluded on Saturday at Sector 38 Sports Complex, Chandigarh.
Samarveer of TSBA was declared the Best Player of the Tournament and was awarded the prestigious trophy instituted by Chandigarh Badminton Association in the memory of late Wing Commander Satish Bhatia,former National Champion, International player and a great legend of Indian Badminton.
The Trophy was presented by the Guest of Honour, Mrs.Madhu Bhatia, w/o of lateWingCdrSatish Bhatia. In women’s category,Rijul Saini of TSBA was awarded the Best Player of the Tournament Trophy. Akul Malik of Sector 38 Sports Complex won TheJunior Boys (U-19) singles title beating Krishna Sharma of TSBA in a thrilling three games match.

While congratulating the prize winners and all other participants, he expressed his pride and profound happiness that the players of the Tricity were performing quite well at the National/International levels and advised them to put in goal-oriented and dedicated efforts to achieve higher laurels in the near future.
